Akon smacked that...literally

This news story is a DOOZY! A few weeks ago, rapper Akon was performing in Trinidad. He pulled a girl up on stage, who obliged, thinking she was entering a dance contest to win a trip to Africa.

Well, Akon gets her up on stage and tells her, "I'm Africa!" and simulates sexual positions, tossing her around and pinning her between himself and another performer, hitting her head on the ground throughout.

So now we come to find out that (a) the girl is only 15-years old, and (b) she is a pastor's daughter (so I hear).

In Akon's defense, he has apologized, saying "I did not know she was underage. The concert was supposed to be 18+ only." 'Cause, you know, simulating forced sexual acts on an 18-year old is ok.

Now the rapper, who is Gwen Stefani's opening act on her current world tour, has had his endoresements dropped by Verizon (including ringtones, graphics, advertisements, etc.), and Verizon has also dropped their sponsorship of the tour.

If Gwen is smart, she should drop him, too!
